Social Media Specialist

OVERVIEW

The Social Media Specialist is responsible for executing the social media strategy and overall campaigns to engage the ONE20 community. Writing posts, responding and interacting with members, and analyzing campaign results will be major areas of responsibility for this role.  

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Work across all social media platforms to schedule and produce daily content
  • Constantly review and research new social media avenues that may prove relevant to the ONE20 audience
  • Partner closely with the rest of the Marketing team to align on messaging, campaigns and the overall brand
  • Collaborate with the Brand Designer to create images, design, and copy that can be used on all social platforms
  • Work hand-in-hand with our SVP | Corporate Growth & Development to align on social campaigns that focus on member acquisition and myONE20 app downloads
  • Constantly speak to and with the driver community. Vigorously defend and maintain the voice of the trucker
  • Research and build comprehensive social media content calendars based on the brand strategy
  • Track, measure, and communicate key performance indicators as it relates to engagement metrics
  • Other duties as assigned

 

QUALIFICATIONS / KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Communication preferred
  • 2-5 years of experience in marketing communications or brand building
  • Prior experience in a social media specific role strongly preferred
  • Proven knowledge and experience with various social platforms ie Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc
  • Strong attention to detail
